Lake Norman’s Game fish include Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Hybrids & Stripers, Blue Catfish, Flathead Catfish, Channel Catfish, Crappie, White Perch, and Bream.
All fishing charters are taken on a 23' Carolina Skiff center console boat with 150 HP Yamaha engine. It is fully equipped with the most current electronics including a Lowrance HDS-7 Gen 3 Fish Finder, Motor Guide Trolling Motor, two live wells, and ample space to accommodate up to six anglers.
Family outings, beginners, and experienced anglers, are all welcome and have enjoyed learning about Lake Norman from Fishin' Lake Norman Guide Service.
Fishing Guide Bob will teach you effective fishing techniques for Lake Norman and help you catch more fish. All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided as part of the Fishin Lake Norman Guide Service.
Multiple fishing techniques and methods are used to catch fish on Lake Norman. We catch and use live Threadfin Shad and Herring for bait along with minnows, shiners and a variety of artificial lures and jigs. Fishing trips are available all year including weekends and holidays.
Professional Fishing Guide Bob Curan’s passion for fishing is stronger than ever. He has fished Lake Norman for Stripers, Hybrids, Crappie, Bass, and Perch over the past 20 years. Having recently retired from 32 years in the corporate business world he now dedicates his time to what he loves to do the most “take people fishing!" Bob grew up fishing the Chesapeake Bay and the rivers leading into the bay for Rockfish (Stripers), Blue Fish, and Sea Trout. He also spent years fishing Maryland’s lakes, ponds, and reservoirs for Bass, Crappie, and Perch.

Charters are offered for 2, 4, 6 and 8 hour trips. Multiple pick-up locations are available for your convenience. Bob will make any other arrangements requested for an enjoyable time on the lake. Book your trip now and let Bob find the fish and watch you catch them!

NC Fishing License is required for all anglers 16 years and older.
Charters are available for up to maximum of 6 anglers 7 days a week. We fish year-round on Lake Norman. Weekends and Holidays book up quickly so please reserve your charter in advance. Choose from a 2, 4, 6 or 8-hour outing.

$50 deposit required to confirm reservation. Balance due day of trip in cash as credit cards are not processed on boat.
